Leon Raza vs Lee Marechera

Boxing Daily Report from the Harare Boxing Club promoted show at Chitungwiza Raza, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 01/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Raza (8 - 2 - 3) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Lee Marechera(6 - 2 - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Raza and Marechera weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roger Breytenbach, and the three ringside judges are Ian Mataz, John Takawira and Sammy Mukoneweshuro.  

Round 1: 

Raza steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
