Joaquin Junior vs Eloy Fortuna

Boxing Daily Report from the Agbeko Promotions promoted show at Rodrigo Lagos Gym, Belo Horizonte,  taking place on 09/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Junior (5 - 0) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Eloy Fortuna(3 - 0) from Curitiba, Brazil.  Junior weighed in at 153 pounds and 13 ounces, while Fortuna weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Federico Prior, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Porro, Selestino Deus and Cris Junior.  

Round 1: 

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Fortuna has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
