Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Montevideo Maduro, Montevideo,  taking place on 01/02/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Juan Ortis (2 - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Diego Diaz(2 - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Ortis weighed in at 199 pounds And 14 ounces, while Diaz weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rico Rogero, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Bacallao, Berto Beltre and Juan Polino.
