Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Estadio Pascual Perez, Mendoza,  taking place on 01/02/2026:

Clearly Rourke & Salvador have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Santiago Onate (8 - 0) who hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina and Rodrigo Acero(2 - 3 - 1 - 1(NC)) from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina.  Onate weighed in at 111 pounds and 8 ounces, while Acero weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Leon, and the three ringside judges are Fraco Bernardo, Oihane Millian and Santiago Cardoso.
