Tajo Teran vs Jerrold Merin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Puebla promoted show at Jose Sanchez Gym, Puebla,  taking place on 09/01/2026:

Clearly AI Mexico-Puebla have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Puebla Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tajo Teran (7 - 9 - 4) who hails from Puebla, Mexico and Jerrold Merin(11 - 4 - 4) from Tehuacan, Mexico.  Both Teran and Merin weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Angulo, and the three ringside judges are Diego Mar, Dimos Corrales and Seferino Leiva.

Merin feints a left, and then hits home with a cross.
