Chris Toshack vs Leyer Bayens

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Royal Dublin Society, Dublin,  taking place on 21/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western Europe Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Setanta Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chris Toshack (15(6) - 1) who hails from Manchester, UK and Leyer Bayens(13(4) - 2) from The Hague, Netherlands.  Both Toshack and Bayens weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bradley MacGinnis, and the three ringside judges are Shane MacNevin, Fionn Donnell and Joshua McColl.  

Round 1: 

Toshack is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.
