Santiago Julio vs Diego Bandera

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Manabi promoted show at Marco Ventura Gym, Manta,  taking place on 07/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Manabi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Julio (16 - 4 - 4) who hails from Portoviejo, Ecuador and Diego Bandera(13 - 4 - 4) from Portoviejo, Ecuador.  Julio weighed in at 111 pounds and 11 ounces, while Bandera weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Manny Santiesteban, and the three ringside judges are Rio Contrera, Alano Enriques and Rio Lona.
