Jair Rabago vs Esteban Martel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Manabi promoted show at Portoviejo Hermosillo, Portoviejo,  taking place on 06/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jair Rabago (13 - 2 - 1) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Esteban Martel(10 - 7 - 5) from Manta, Ecuador.  Rabago weighed in at 237 pounds and 13 ounces, while Martel weighed in at 242 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gervasio Arroyo, and the three ringside judges are Dario Cruz, Xaver Barbo and Vicente Robaina.
