Floyd Cassidy vs Patrick Magaw

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 24/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Floyd Cassidy (3 - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Patrick Magaw(1 - 1) from San Diego, USA.  Both Cassidy and Magaw weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Evans, and the three ringside judges are Oliver McCleese, Ian Noble and Elliot Ogle.  

Round 1: 

Cassidy is looking to close the distance.  Cassidy hits home with a left hook.  
Magaw tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.

Magaw pivots to the side of his opponent.  Magaw throws a right hook, but Cassidy clinches his opponent.  Cassidy is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cassidy.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Magaw's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.
