Joey Govan vs Charlie McCartt

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-North Carolina promoted show at Charlotte Craig, Charlotte,  taking place on 07/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joey Govan (8 - 8(1) - 3) who hails from Charlotte, USA and Charlie McCartt(8 - 6 - 3) from Durham, USA.  Both Govan and McCartt weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Gerrie, and the three ringside judges are Kian Bourne, Robert Samuel and Mark Baxa.
