Kyle Gomez vs Xavion Mero

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami,  taking place on 14/02/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Americas Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kyle Gomez (15(12) - 0) who hails from Glendale, USA and Xavion Mero(12 - 4(2) - 1 - 1(NC)) from Puebla, Mexico.  Both Gomez and Mero weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Davie Riquelme, and the three ringside judges are Lloyd Purse, Daniel Wright and Chris Sprout.  

Round 1: 

Mero advances into close range.  Gomez throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
