Khalid Barakat vs Zain Karawi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Yemen-Sana'a promoted show at Khalid Nouri Gym, Sana'a,  taking place on 10/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Asia-Oceania Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Yemen TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Khalid Barakat (11(1) - 4 - 1) who hails from Sana'a, Yemen and Zain Karawi(19 - 3(1)) from Zarqa, Jordan.  Both Barakat and Karawi weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Saad Nabi, and the three ringside judges are Rehan Abidi, Asif Maroon and Aftab Azer.
