Edmundo Melena vs Desiderio Delangel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-Santa Fe promoted show at Rosario Miers, Rosario,  taking place on 14/01/2026:

Clearly AI Argentina-Santa Fe have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Santa Fe Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmundo Melena (9 - 1) who hails from Rosario, Argentina and Desiderio Delangel(6 - 10 - 3) from Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, Argentina.  Melena weighed in at 111 pounds and 7 ounces, while Delangel weighed in at 111 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gonzalo Carrillo, and the three ringside judges are Vidal Mejia, Bronco Masias and Guillermo Pastrana.
