Merrill Assale vs Lance Kopa

Boxing Daily Report from the Gbedema Promotions promoted show at Garoua Dolassem, Garoua,  taking place on 21/02/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Cameroon-Nord Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Merrill Assale (8 - 10(1) - 3) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Lance Kopa(3 - 9 - 6) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both Assale and Kopa weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ross Giono, and the three ringside judges are Varocher Marot, Nicolas Baga and Guy Feudjou.
