Okapi Ametepey vs Ming Wui

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Bay Hotel, Cape Town,  taking place on 10/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Commonwealth Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Okapi Ametepey (15(1) - 1) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Ming Wui(12 - 5(1) - 3) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Both Ametepey and Wui weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xhosas Serero, and the three ringside judges are Luvolwethu Nyatama, Runako Mashaba and Oringo Arthur.
