Ron Remy vs Judo Frays

Boxing Daily Report from the Fosuhehe Promotions promoted show at Ghent Thielens, Ghent,  taking place on 15/01/2026:

Clearly Fosuhehe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belgium-Flanders Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ron Remy (9 - 11 - 2) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Judo Frays(4 - 2 - 2) from Antwerp, Belgium.  Both Remy and Frays weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Florent Micault, and the three ringside judges are Deder de Backer, Oswald Tinnepotghietere and Jeremy Van Driessche.  

Round 1: 

Remy sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Remy gets on the inside and manouvers Frays into a corner.  Remy attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Frays's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Frays steps inside.  Remy lands a right hook.  
Remy pivots from in front of his opponent.  Frays hits home with a left hook.  
Frays closes the distance.  Remy attempts to land a right hook, but Frays slips the shot and counters with a cross.
