Cortez Olea vs Sancho Estremera

Boxing Daily Report from the Lusungo Promotions promoted show at La Paz Sultan, La Paz,  taking place on 15/01/2026:

Clearly Lusungo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia-La Paz Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cortez Olea (12 - 4 - 2) who hails from La Paz, Bolivia and Sancho Estremera(10(2) - 0) from El Alto, Bolivia.  Both Olea and Estremera weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Ciprian, and the three ringside judges are Francisco Tomey, Francisco Quintanar and Xaver Nicodemus.  

Round 1: 

Estremera closes the distance.  Olea throws a left hook, but Estremera clinches his opponent.  Estremera leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
