Borden Truffaut vs Mark Blackstock

Boxing Daily Report from the Basemera Promotions promoted show at Montreal Pigalle, Montreal,  taking place on 10/02/2026:

Clearly Basemera Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Borden Truffaut (9 - 8 - 1) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Mark Blackstock(12 - 7 - 2) from Montreal, Canada.  Truffaut weighed in at 234 pounds and 13 ounces, while Blackstock weighed in at 243 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sid Leys, and the three ringside judges are Verrier Luna, Jasper Kopa and Laurent Marceau.
