Ryo Perez vs Jose Hermida

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Havana Zaragosa, Havana,  taking place on 10/02/2026:

Clearly Ngcobo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryo Perez (16(3) - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Jose Hermida(5 - 7 - 6) from Havana, Cuba.  Perez weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces, while Hermida weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fanuco Recio, and the three ringside judges are Cortez Bastidas, Saturnin Milan and Ponce Cortina.
