Ichiro Maruyama vs Isamu Takemoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Ochiai Park Gymnasium, Kasugai,  taking place on 27/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ichiro The Hokage Maruyama (14(1) - 0) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Isamu Takemoto(8 - 14) from Kasugai, Japan.  Maruyama weighed in at 111 pounds and 3 ounces, while Takemoto weighed in at 111 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Mochizuki, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Shimamoto, Kazuki Yamamoto and Hideki Kawasaki.
