Juan Matalon vs Juan Muzquiz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Distrito Capital promoted show at Sancho Daniel Gym, Bogota,  taking place on 16/01/2026:

Clearly AI Colombia-Distrito Capital have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Distrito Capital Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Matalon (5 - 4 - 3) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Juan Muzquiz(5 - 4 - 4) from Bogota, Colombia.  Both Matalon and Muzquiz weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Ascencio, and the three ringside judges are Senon Lucas, Ponce Carreon and Montel Bastidas.
