Elias Barcena vs Venacio Pita

Boxing Daily Report from the Rumfa Promotions promoted show at Buenaventura Padua, Buenaventura,  taking place on 16/01/2026:

Clearly Rumfa Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Valle del Cauca Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elias Barcena (5 - 11 - 3) who hails from Cali, Colombia and Venacio Pita(6 - 10 - 3) from Palmira, Colombia.  Barcena weighed in at 118 pounds, while Pita weighed in at 117 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Gordon, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Orihuela, Francisco Carrera and Carlos Pasillas.
