Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kyoto promoted show at Kyoto Maekawa, Kyoto,  taking place on 17/02/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Prentice (5(3) - 0) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Goro Ito(6 - 4 - 6) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Prentice and Ito weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Kawasaki, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Fujimoto, Kenji Fujimoto and Kenji Fujiwara.
