Glynn Aikins vs Shaun Matheson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Wellington Hakopa, Wellington,  taking place on 12/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Glynn Aikins (7 - 8 - 1) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Shaun Matheson(4 - 14 - 2) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Aikins weighed in at 160 pounds, while Matheson weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Geoff Symington, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Page, Declan Ngarara and Paul Redhead.
