Qing-Nan Cheong vs Isamu Kikuchi

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Jinan Olympic Sports Center Tennis Hall, Jinan,  taking place on 21/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the East Asian Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Qing-Nan Cheong (14(1) - 1(1)) who hails from Xiangyang, China and Isamu Kikuchi(15 - 1) from Hachioji, Japan.  Cheong weighed in at 199 pounds And 15 ounces, while Kikuchi weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hui-chao Xiong, and the three ringside judges are Wen Wan, Fo-hai Jing and Lee Quan.
