Chris Humphries vs Brendan Prichett

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Pavillon de Juenesse, Quebec City,  taking place on 19/03/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Canada Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Super Channel, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chris Humphries (14(3) - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Brendan Prichett(14 - 0) from Hamilton, Canada.  Both Humphries and Prichett weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Verrier Luna, and the three ringside judges are Louis Gillespie, Henry Popkin and Granger Hinault.  

Round 1: 

Humphries hits home with an overhand left.  
Prichett advances into close range.  Humphries throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.

Prichett closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Prichett tries to land a left uppercut, but Humphries blocks the shot and counters with a weighty right uppercut.  PRICHETT WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Humphries senses Prichett is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Humphries lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head, DROPPING PRICHETT TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  
Humphries lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND PRICHETT IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Prichett cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Humphries!
