Vicente Calleja vs Loredo Escarcega

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guanajuato promoted show at Mexico-Guanajuato Gym, Leon,  taking place on 18/01/2026:

Clearly AI Mexico-Guanajuato have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guanajuato Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Calleja (6 - 0) who hails from Celaya, Mexico and Loredo Escarcega(7 - 0) from Leon, Mexico.  Both Calleja and Escarcega weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fausto Cal, and the three ringside judges are Berto Escajeda, Manny Francisco and Diego Principe.
