Sam Glasco vs Ian Watson

Boxing Daily Report from the Monster Promotions promoted show at Goulbourn Recreation Centre, Ottawa,  taking place on 06/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Glasco (12(1) - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Ian Watson(8 - 5 - 2) from Nashville, USA.  Both Glasco and Watson weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neil Cowans, and the three ringside judges are Arnie Waddey, Chris Ruskin and Mark Nixon.  

Round 1: 

Glasco lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  Glasco holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Glasco pushes his forearm into Watson's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Watson throws a left hook, but Glasco holds on to his opponent.  Glasco pushes his forearm into Watson's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Glasco lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Glasco manages to force Watson into the corner.  Glasco lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.
