Clint Magie vs Kris Dodd

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 28/03/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Clint Magie (11 - 0) who hails from Wollongong, Australia and Kris Dodd(11 - 8(2) - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Magie weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces, while Dodd weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Rabb, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Deasmhumhain, Billy Pryce and Corey Pait.  

Round 1: 

Magie steps inside.  Magie pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.
