Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 28/03/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Darryl Albert (18 - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Newcastle, Australia and Takeo Sera(19(7) - 4(4) - 1) from Ichikawa, Japan.  Both Albert and Sera weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Deasmhumhain, and the three ringside judges are Ian Rabb, Billy Pryce and Corey Pait.
