Sami Astala vs Kalervo Tokoi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Pirkanmaa promoted show at Tampere Katajarnki, Tampere,  taking place on 17/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Finland Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sami Astala (17 - 3) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Kalervo Tokoi(7 - 12(3) - 1) from Tampere, Finland.  Astala weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces, while Tokoi weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aleksanteri Saari, and the three ringside judges are Hannes Kivela, Elmer Ihamaki and Isto Lemminkainen.
