Faisal Mitri vs Ben Akamba

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Labi, Kumasi,  taking place on 17/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Faisal Mitri (7 - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Ben Akamba(13(1) - 6(1)) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Mitri weighed in at 107 pounds and 11 ounces, while Akamba weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bob Antwi, and the three ringside judges are Brad Kyei, Amon Amartey and Ibrahim Siddiqi.
