Tabansi Agbo vs John Acquah

Boxing Daily Report from the Busia Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Archer, Kumasi,  taking place on 17/02/2026:

Clearly Busia Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tabansi Agbo (9 - 4 - 2) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and John Acquah(10 - 6(1) - 4) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Agbo weighed in at 219 pounds, while Acquah weighed in at 239 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Ampomah, and the three ringside judges are Michael Salifu, Andy Salawu and Tamarius Ankomah.
