Kyle Ado vs Zach Anyidoho

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Darko, Kumasi,  taking place on 17/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyle Ado (9 - 7 - 1) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Zach Anyidoho(14(3) - 7 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Ado and Anyidoho weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vincent Lamptey, and the three ringside judges are Rob Yeboah, Bob Antwi and Brad Kyei.  

Round 1: 

Ado hits home with a cross.  
Anyidoho steps inside.  Ado pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ado throws a left uppercut, but Anyidoho holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Anyidoho forces Ado to retreat onto the ropes.  Anyidoho lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Anyidoho gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Anyidoho lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Anyidoho manouvers Ado onto the ropes.  Anyidoho lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Anyidoho holds on to his opponent.  Anyidoho is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Anyidoho and breaks the clinch.

Anyidoho quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Anyidoho tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Anyidoho sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Anyidoho advances into close range.  Anyidoho lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Anyidoho wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ado dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ado steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Anyidoho steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Anyidoho lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ado's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Ado's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
