Hugh Cookston vs Michael Monaghan

Boxing Daily Report from the Elite Prizefighters promoted show at Colston hall, Bristol,  taking place on 21/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Cookston (11 - 0) who hails from Reading, UK and Michael Monaghan(11 - 5 - 3 - 1(NC)) from Northampton, UK.  Cookston weighed in at 234 pounds and 15 ounces, while Monaghan weighed in at 225 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Richie Sheenan, and the three ringside judges are Alen Sullivan, Henry Finnegan and William Drummond.
