Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Alexandria promoted show at Alexandria Almasri, Alexandria,  taking place on 16/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Egypt Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jawad Popal (6 - 9 - 4) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Haaris Salameh(10 - 8(1) - 1) from Suez, Egypt.  Both Popal and Salameh weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amer Qazi, and the three ringside judges are Bilal Elmahdi, Kamran Ahmad and Yasin Eldegheidy.
