Brin Power vs Thomas Hughes

Boxing Daily Report from the Kalungi Promotions promoted show at Dublin Doyle, Dublin,  taking place on 16/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Irish Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Brin Power (11 - 2(1)) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Thomas Hughes(6 - 8 - 4) from Dublin, Ireland.  Power weighed in at 108 pounds, while Hughes weighed in at 107 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joshua Higgins, and the three ringside judges are Leon Mohan, Liam Healey and Sam Mulryan.
