Ivan Pasillas vs Xaver Benavidez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at San Pedro Sula Pedregon, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 18/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras-Cortes Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ivan Pasillas (10 - 6 - 1) who hails from San Pedro Sula, Honduras and Xaver Benavidez(3 - 12 - 3) from Choloma, Honduras.  Both Pasillas and Benavidez weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Francisco Millian, and the three ringside judges are Rio Cruce, Hernan Barrantes and Hernan Barrantes.
