Waqas Radwan vs Li-Liang Giaw

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Alborz promoted show at Kimmula Gym, Karaj,  taking place on 16/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Iran-Alborz Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqas Radwan (7 - 4 - 1) who hails from Karaj, Iran and Li-Liang Giaw(11 - 1 - 1) from Karaj, Iran.  Both Radwan and Giaw weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Farhan Hashem, and the three ringside judges are Mohsin Yousif, Bilal Shahan and Gazi Omar.  

Round 1: 

Giaw throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Giaw clinches his opponent.  Giaw tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Radwan behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Giaw about fouling.  
Giaw tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a solid jab.
