Ames Garros vs Vachel Marot

Boxing Daily Report from the Mnyamane Promotions promoted show at Abidjan de France, Abidjan,  taking place on 22/01/2026:

Clearly Mnyamane Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ivory Coast Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTI Sport TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ames Garros (11 - 4) who hails from Abobo, Ivory Coast and Vachel Marot(8 - 4 - 3) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Both Garros and Marot weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xebec de Sade, and the three ringside judges are Trystan Basque, Chainey De Leon and Sid Zola.  

Round 1: 

Garros steps inside.  Garros drives a solid left hook into his opponents ribs.
