Rohit Behen vs Akbar Ayali

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Delhi promoted show at New Delhi Beniwal, New Delhi,  taking place on 22/01/2026:

Clearly AI India-Delhi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Delhi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rohit Behen (6 - 8 - 2) who hails from New Delhi, India and Akbar Ayali(8 - 0) from New Delhi, India.  Both Behen and Ayali weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malik Baten, and the three ringside judges are Vijay Kedia, Suneil Dhingra and Azam Shams.  

Round 1: 

Ayali advances into close range and drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ayali dabs at his face checking for damage.

Ayali lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Ayali throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Behen steps away from his opponent.  Ayali lands a VICIOUS cross.  BEHEN IS HURT!  Behen almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ayali walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Ayali lands a solid cross.  
Ayali gets on the inside.  Ayali lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Ayali has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused bad swelling  around the right eye.  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  We are going to the scorecards.
