Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Gujurat promoted show at Deepak Bhattacharya Gym, Surat,  taking place on 19/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Gujurat Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kalidas Ganesan (4 - 5 - 2) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and Chandrasekar Ranjan(5 - 12 - 2) from Surat, India.  Ganesan weighed in at 140 pounds, while Ranjan weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gurudas Kalla, and the three ringside judges are Premnath Rangaswamy, Haider Nazimuddin and Jyotish Balmuchu.
