Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Sicily promoted show at Antonio Schettini Gym, Messina,  taking place on 22/01/2026:

Clearly AI Italy-Sicily have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fillipo Garavini (7 - 9(1) - 4) who hails from Catania, Italy and Nero De Grado(3 - 8 - 2 - 1(NC)) from Palermo, Italy.  Garavini weighed in at 154 pounds, while De Grado weighed in at 153 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luca Catanoso, and the three ringside judges are Vicenzo Strano, Luca Catanoso and Valentino Spataro.
