Laron Allie vs Marc Rubel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ivory Coast-Lagunes promoted show at Abidjan Dujardin, Abidjan,  taking place on 19/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ivory Coast-Lagunes Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Laron Allie (6 - 6) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Marc Rubel(4 - 7 - 3) from Abobo, Ivory Coast.  Both Allie and Rubel weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Curtis Moreau, and the three ringside judges are Odo Larbaud, Vermont Oriol and Trystan Basque.  

Round 1: 

Allie switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Allie feints a left hook, and then lands an overhand right to the head followed by a jab to the body.  Allie tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Rubel gets on the inside.  Rubel throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Allie time to recover.  
Allie pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Rubel steps inside.  Allie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rubel hits home with a left uppercut.  
Rubel closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Allie's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
