Rashid Ben vs Irfan Tahan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Alborz promoted show at Karaj Hasain, Karaj,  taking place on 21/02/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Iran Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rashid Ben (13 - 7 - 2) who hails from Karaj, Iran and Irfan Tahan(13 - 0) from Isfahan, Iran.  Ben weighed in at 112 pounds, while Tahan weighed in at 111 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Waqas Kalil, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Hariri, Farhan Hashem and Waqas Kalil.
