Luigi Damitz vs Lotharing Meckes

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Saxony promoted show at Leipzig Pfeiffer, Leipzig,  taking place on 21/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Saxony Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luigi Damitz (2 - 9 - 2) who hails from Leipzig, Germany and Lotharing Meckes(11 - 10(1)) from Leipzig, Germany.  Damitz weighed in at 158 pounds and 15 ounces, while Meckes weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bin Besser, and the three ringside judges are Klaus Hentze, Klaus Hentze and Ramhart Jeschke.  

Round 1: 

Damitz throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Meckes time to recover.
