Mikio Koga vs Shinji Kato

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Kawagoe Athletic Stadium, Kawagoe,  taking place on 03/03/2026:

Clearly ADR Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mikio Koga (13 - 1) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Shinji Kato(15 - 2) from Funabashi, Japan.  Koga weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces, while Kato weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Mizuno, and the three ringside judges are Ryuu Kamiya, Satoru Matsui and Aki Iseri.
