Noah Marn vs Alano Santiesteban

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Fonde Recreation Center, Houston,  taking place on 21/02/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Noah Marn (8(3) - 0) who hails from Boise, USA and Alano Santiesteban(3 - 1 - 1) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Both Marn and Santiesteban weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Henry Messer, and the three ringside judges are Mike Ruane, Owen Bryde and Nicholas Wynne.  

Round 1: 

Marn hits home with a firm cross.  
Marn advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Marn lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Marn ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Marn pushes his forearm into Santiesteban's face.  The ref breaks Marn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Marn digs in a solid left hook to Santiesteban's ribs.

Marn throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Marn ties up his opponent.  Marn tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Santiesteban behind the head. 
Santiesteban closes the distance.  Marn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Marn lands a jab.  
Santiesteban gets on the inside.  Marn lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Marn pivots to the left of his opponent.  Santiesteban throws a right hook, but Marn ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Marn lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Marn lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Marn is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Marn lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Marn holds on to his opponent.  Marn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Marn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Santiesteban lands a left hook.  Santiesteban attempts to land a right hook, but Marn blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

Marn closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Marn ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Marn closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Marn ties up his opponent.  Marn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Marn uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Santiesteban's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Marn.  
Marn lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Santiesteban recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Santiesteban dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Santiesteban's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Marn steps inside.  Marn sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Marn lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Marn is on target with a sharp left hook.  Marn tries to land a right hook, but Santiesteban blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Marn digs in a sharp left hook to Santiesteban's liver.  Marn ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Marn pushes his forearm into Santiesteban's face.  The referee warns Marn and breaks the clinch.  
Marn lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Santiesteban throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.
