Mel Cowans vs Darryl Watkins

Boxing Daily Report from the Magicman Promotions promoted show at New York City Lynch, New York City,  taking place on 25/02/2026:

Clearly Magicman Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Cowans (16(1) - 0) who hails from Memphis, USA and Darryl Watkins(1 - 4) from New York City, USA.  Cowans weighed in at 239 pounds and 7 ounces, while Watkins weighed in at 226 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Elley, and the three ringside judges are Darryl Shand, Neil Sneddon and Gianfranco Scotti.
