Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Arcila, Mexico City,  taking place on 23/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Berto Machin (17 - 1) who hails from Matamoros, Mexico and Onofre Pomales(17(2) - 0) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Both Machin and Pomales weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Landaverde, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Macia, Carlos Santistevan and Rodrigo Landaverde.
